Levon Hampartzoumian Was Named Manager of 2012

Levon Hampartzoumian, Chairman of the Management Board of UniCredit Bulbank, was named Manager of 2012. The name of the winner was announced at the closing of the official ceremony at the fifth anniversary edition of the contest for high achievements in business management which took place on 26 October. “He is the living history of Bulgarian business in the past 20 years; he was everywhere, worked hard, achieved extraordinary success. A great connoisseur, man of wisdom and a true leader”. These were the words of President Rosen Plevneliev, who opened the envelope with the winner’s name on the stage of the Sofia Opera and Ballet and handed the crystal statuette to the new holder of the award.
“I am so excited and surprised to learn that I am the one who has been awarded the prize this year. As a manager, I can say that I have been very lucky with my team. And to everyone else in this room and outside I can say: we must never forget that we are competing not with our past but with the rest of the world and therefore we must run as fast as it does”, said the new Manager of the Year Levon Hampartzoumian.
