Club Lecture

On February 23rd, 2012 there wаs held a Club lecture and dinner at Crystal Palace Hotel, Sofia with the participation of Mr. Alex Alexiev, leading geopolitical analyst and expert on international security and radical Islam. The topic of the lecture was „The Future of NATO within the New Global Context“. The meeting was conducted under the Chatham House rules. Club members and their guests took eager part in the discussion following the lecture, as Mr. Boyko Noev, former Minister of Defense and former Head of the permanent diplomatic mission of Bulgaria to NATO in Brussels, was one of the prominent participants. Prior to the lecture itself, a sommelier revealed the secrets of professional wine tasting by introducing three selected wines provided by RUMELIA winery elegantly complemented with Slow Food gourmet products presented by Mr. Georgi Georgiev.
